Introducing Actor Kai Parham: One of the Exciting New Faces to Watch in the new series “The Greatest”

Newcomer Kai Parham, who is poised for a breakout with a series regular role in the highly anticipated new series “The Greatest,” from executive producer Michael B. Jordan and executive producer/showrunner Ben Watkins.

The series explores the defining moments in the life and career of Muhammad Ali, (Best) both in and outside of the ring, including the well-documented moments that made him a global icon as well as the more intimate chapters of his life that unfolded away from the spotlight. While the world remembers the legend, The Greatest looks at the man behind it: a husband, father, brother and son.

In a major series regular role, Parham stars as ‘Rudy Clay,’ Ali’s younger brother, best friend and one of the most constant figures throughout his life. The brothers were inseparable. Rudy was not only Ali’s confidant, but an integral member of his fight team, standing in his corner both literally and figuratively as Ali navigated boxing, fame, family, faith and an extraordinary cultural transformation. 

The Greatest is produced by Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, which has an overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios, Watkins’ Blue Monday Productions, Authentic Studios, Roc Nation, Polygram Entertainment, a Universal Music Group partner, and Grace: A Storytelling Company and also stars Jaleen Best, Omari Hardwick, Giovanni Ribisy and Michael Ealy.

The series premieres Wednesday, November 4, 2026, on Prime Video.

Rudy’s own story is equally fascinating. Born Rudolph Arnett Clay, he was a professional heavyweight boxer himself and later became known as Rahaman Ali. He also played an important role in his brother’s spiritual journey, introducing Cassius Clay to the Nation of Islam. Their relationship became a powerful example of brotherhood, loyalty and what it meant to remain steadfastly in one another’s corner as their lives changed dramatically.

For Kai, The Greatest marks a significant breakout moment. Prior to landing the role, the rising actor appeared in projects including “Colin in Black & White” and “Vows.” Now, he steps into a role that places him at the center of one of the most compelling and consequential family stories in American sports and cultural history.

Outside of acting, Kai is equally creative and active. He paints on canvas and works in graphic design, while fitness is a major part of his lifestyle. He plays basketball, participates in several run clubs, strength trains and is an avid hiker.
