Ian was the one who first introduced Regina to orange wine, and its rich, playful flavors perfectly reflect his unique style and ability to turn ordinary moments into something extraordinary. Inspired by Ian’s passion for art, flavor, and the people around him, Regina created a wine that celebrates connection.
Created with love and driven by Ian’s passion for fully embracing life, MianU aims to inspire others to live the same way. Whether it’s sharing a bottle, connecting over art, or celebrating life’s special moments with loved ones, MianU brings people together, honoring Ian’s enduring influence and the meaningful connections we hold dear.
This vibrant, amber-hued wine boasts a rich texture and delightful depth, making it the perfect match for fresh seafood, savory vegetables, aged cheeses, and bold, spiced dishes. Aromatic and lively, it adds a touch of character and celebration to any gathering.
The wine is made from Gewürztraminer grapes sourced from McFadden Farm and Chardonnay grapes from Hawkeye Ranch in Mendocino County. The blend is well-balanced and structured, with subtle notes of stone fruit. To maintain its fresh, lively character, the wine is whole-bunch pressed, fermented in stainless steel, and aged in neutral oak for six months.
When bottled, it's left unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfites, preserving its pure and natural expression.

On the website, you can find a unique three-episode series where Regina sits down with friends and fellow creators, inviting them to open up about their worlds. These conversations go beyond just the craft, delving into the personal stories and defining moments that shape who we are.
There’s also a blog where we believe true connection is born from art—and the way it resonates with each of us. Inspired by Ian’s passion for creativity, this interview series takes you deep into the artistic journey, allowing artists to share what drives their passion, how they bring it to life, and what they hope to ignite in others.
These honest, unfiltered conversations stay with you long after the last sip, offering a deeper understanding of the art that shapes our world and the emotions that unite us.
Regina recently stated in an interview that her son sends her signs that his energy is still with her in "spirit" as she notices that Ian's name was not intentionally brought into the wine name.
Visit MianU today to explore the full series, dive into the blog, and discover how we’re about more than just wine—it’s about connection, creativity, and celebrating life’s most meaningful moments.
