A dynamic journalist and media personality, she is recognized for impactful work in entertainment, health, business, finance, and community reporting. With a passion for storytelling that both uplifts and informs, she approaches each assignment with a sharp editorial eye and a strong sense of purpose. Her work with publications such as The Chicago Defender and Felix Magazine uncovers narratives that resonate across generations and communities.

 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Theatre and Performance Studies from Governors State University in 2017, following an Associate of Arts in Mass Communications from Triton College in 2014. While at Triton, she founded and served as president of the Music and Media Club, organizing open mic events to foster creative expression.

An engaging on-camera correspondent and cultural influencer, she has interviewed high-profile figures including Malcolm and John David Washington—the sons of Denzel Washington—alongside many of Chicago’s most notable influencers, celebrities, and community leaders. Known for a magnetic red-carpet presence, she blends professional poise with authentic connection.

In 2025, she served as Social Media Lead for The Chicago Defender’s Women of Excellence Awards and as Red-Carpet Correspondent for the Men of Excellence Awards, expanding both events’ reach and cultural impact through vibrant coverage and compelling storytelling.

 

An active member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and its Chicago chapter, the Chicago Journalists Association, and a board member of the Chicago Headline Club, she demonstrates an ongoing commitment to leadership and advocacy within the journalism community.

As the creator of The Beverage Library (thebeveragelibrary.com), a lifestyle platform dedicated to exploring books, authors, libraries and librarians, beverages (alcohol and non-alcoholic), wellness, and events nationally and internationally, she connects audiences to brands, fresh perspectives, and experiences that inspire conversation, community, and healthy living.
